On theafternoon of June 19, Jingzhou Urban Administrative Bureau "Ten Major Improvement Measures" and Work AppraisementMeeting of May was held, which made arrangement and deployment of the "Ten Major Improvement Measures" and reported the assessment ofthe urban administrative work of May.

In order tofurther strengthen the city management, realize the city management goal of “cleanness, green, brightness, beauty, orderliness,smoothness, and specialty” and comprehensively solve the tough problems of city management,Jingzhou Urban Administrative Bureau has conducted the "Ten MajorImprovement Measures" in the urban areas to promote the city management into citygovernance and advance the city management and law enforcement level of Jingzhouinto a new stage. To better carry out the implement scheme of the "Ten Major Improvement Measures", Jingzhou Urban Administrative Bureau has set up thecommanding office of "Ten Major Improvement Measures" withten affiliated steering groups which will be responsible for the detailedimplementation of all projects respectively.

At themeeting, Vice Mayor Zhifeng Fu requested urban administrative departments atall levels to make clear of their tasks and make efforts to achieve them so asto vigorously promote the "Ten Major Improvement Measures", wellsolve the obstinate problems of the city, and create sound and beautiful urbanenvironment through strong and powerful measures.

It is knownthat the "Ten Major Improvement Measures" consist of cell engineering,returning roads to the public project, city restoration project, opened thewall to pass the green project, green improvement project, in-depth cleaningproject, demonstration road establishment project, lightening project, illegalrule crackdown and treatment project, and outdoor advertisement regulationproject. These ten measures plan to be fully completed at the end of this year.

At present,opened thewall to pass the green project has completed more than 70% of the 23,396-metersolid wall in urban city while the rest will be fully completed before June 30.As to the breakage condition of urban roads and bridge, a budget of RMB 19.1789million in 2018 will be used for the repair and maintenance of city tubes,roads, and bridges to improve the condition of roads in urban area. In-depthcleaning project will meet the standard of “dual-10” quality assessment, namelyno more than 10g of floating dust per square meter and no more than 10 minutesof ground garage remaining.

At theappraisal meeting, the assessment result of the urban administrative work ofMay was reported. Shaishi District Urban Administrative Bureau got a comprehensivescore of 87.58, Jingzhou District Urban Administrative Bureau of 87.13, andJingzhou Development Zone Urban Administrative Bureau of 86.53. Dongcheng Sub-DistrictOffice, Jiefang Sub-District Office, and Xicheng Sub-District Office won thefirst three places respectively while Chengnan Development Zone and LixinVillage ranked the last two places.
